Salaam - My friends say I am a laid back person. A good listener. I like to think of myself as a very sincere, humble, and accepting individual. Although generally progressive in my thinking and attitude, I can be traditional in my ways when it comes to love and romance . I am driven in my career and into education. I do recognize my flaws as human but do put a good faith effort to better myself as a person.

Even though I was born a muslim, I consider myself a revert in the sense that I really came to Islam only recently. I am a muslim with full knowledge and understanding - drawn to it by its beauty and brilliance.

I would also like to add that my children are half caucasian and live with their mother in IL. Daughter is 11 and son is 5. While my future partner will never be a secondary priority to me, it would be nice to be with a woman that understands that my children are and always will be a very important part of my life.
